A'a: The world's smallest language

A'a is a language, which, as the title and the name of the site already says, is the smallest language ever made (that is usable)!

It has a very minimal grammar, which means that only the most necessary things that require a language to function are included.

With that, the core vocabulary of the language only has TWO distinct roots!

Why learn this?

First of all, merely for fun. Second, if you don't speak another language, or you only know languages you were brought up with and want to

learn a new one but are afraid of not finishing and/or fullying learning a language (because for most people language learning is hard),

Then learning A'a might be for you!

Now, a list of goals i had while designing the language:

Give it a phonology pronouncable by everyone regardless of 1st language
Make the vocabulary as small as possible
Make the grammar small and learnable in an hour
Make lexicalisation technically impossible, as any new word that gets lexicalised would automatically be broken down into its core roots.

Now, below is a simple, yet detailed (enough) grammar of the language.

The phonology is ridiculously small, and has only 2 sounds. A consonant and a vowel.

The only consonant is m, and the only vowel is a.

Now, since there is only one consonant and vowel, they can be pronounced any way you wish until the sound you pronounce them as

can be categorized as a consonant (for m) or a vowel (for a).

As I've written down before, there are only two words.

The vocabulary is so tiny it could be written on the paper inside a fortune cookie!

The grammar is also really small, but less so. It can be summed up in 8 bullet points in total:

SVO word order is the default
Modifiers come after their head nouns (head-initiality, OV)
When attempting to express more complex concepts than what is already defined in the dictionary, we glue words together.
In writing, inbetween these words we write a comma (') or a dash (-)
General sentences always end with a full stop (.), questions end with a question mark (?), and exclamations end in an exclamation mark (!).
Even though we write symbols inbetween the words we glue together, in real life, we would always pronounce them as one word.
All of the words are to be separated from each other, except the ones that modify another word. This makes A'a a very isolating language.
There are no cases, gender, number, tones, or inflection.
